Step 1. Getting to Know You & Your Plans

We want to hear about your vision for your new home. Whether you already have a homesite and plan in hand or are just taking the first step in building your dream home. If you are in need of a plan, we will work together with our drafter to design the custom plan that matches your vision. We will navigate pairing the plan to your prospective homesite and draft what will suit you and your family.

Step 2

Step 2. The Contract

Once we have a homesite and plan that visualizes your new home, we will draft a comprehensive contract. Our contract is a fixed price contract with a no escalation clause.

Step 3

Step 3. Buildertrend & Making Selections

Buildertrend is a software used to track the process of your build, from concept through to closing. Our interior design team is with you every step of the way as you go to show rooms and make your selections from the cabinets to the trim details. Coleman Fine Homes’ Design Center is also available to homeowners to help finalize selections and ease into building.

Step 4

Step 4. The Build & Pre-Drywall Orientation

Once you finalize selections, the build process begins. We ask that you are available to your project manager for walk throughs and bi weekly phone calls to review progress.

Step 5

Step 5. Final Walk to Closing

A thorough walk through and home orientation will be scheduled 45 days before closing. We will go over a detailed punch list and help to orient you with your new home. Following the final walk through, we will go to closing and hand over the keys. We will wrap up the punch list from the walk through and be thrilled to see you move into your new custom home.

Step 6

Step 6. Warranty

Coleman Fine Homes offers a one year bumper to bumper warranty. Submit a claim through Buildertrend and a member of our team will address the claim. As the one year warranty comes to an end, we want to touch up your home and address any outstanding warranty issues. We want to make sure you are pleased with your home and how it is functioning!
