Following the opportunity to get to know you, we want to hear about your vision for your new home. Whether you already have a homesite and plan in hand, ready to start the building process; or you are just taking the first steps of making your dream home a reality; we can help cultivate this process. We take pride in matching the homesite with a plan that enhances each homebuyer’s vision and would like to help identify any needs that may arise during your tenure in your new home.

If you are in need of a plan, we will work together with our drafter to design the custom plan that matches your vision for your home. We will navigate pairing the plan to your prospective homesite and draft it in a fashion that will suit you and your family for years to come.

Once we have a plan and homesite that visualizes your new home, we will draw up a comprehensive contract. This contract will outline the total contract price based on allowances and specifications of the home. Our contract is a fixed priced contract with a no escalation clause. We have a network of trusted lenders and attorneys in the area that are available for assistance if needed.

At this point we will set up an account in Buildertrend for your new home construction. We use the innovative Buildertrend software to help you track the progress of your project. You will have the ability to communicate directly with your project manager, monitor the scheduling of the various phases of construction, make changes orders virtually and much more.

We want to help you with the details as you make this home your own. Our interior designer will be with you every step of the way as you explore various showrooms and decide on the nuances in your home that will enhance everyday life for years to come. You all will make choices on everything from trim and paint colors to fixtures, cabinetry and more.

While you are putting the finishing touches on designing your new home, we will be efficiently procuring the necessary permits and inspections to be able to break ground. From here the rubber hits the road and our goal is to keep you as involved as possible. The timeframe will depend on the home’s layout and specifications, and you will remain in the know every step of the way. Our state-of-the-art software will allow you to keep an eye on the home with weekly photos and updates, as well as making sure we schedule bi-weekly meetings to review progress. We would also like to make sure you are able to take walkthroughs of your home at the monumental stages of construction.

As the exciting day swiftly approaches, we will coordinate the optimal time to schedule a thorough final home orientation walk through approximately 45 days prior to closing. This will be the moment when all of the anticipation comes to fruition, and we will go over a detailed punch list and help to orientate you with all the functionality of your new home.

Following the final walk through, we will go to closing and hand over the keys. We will wrap up the punch list from the final walk through and be thrilled to see you move into your new custom home.

Coleman Fine Homes offers a one-year bumper to bumper warranty. To have us address a warranty issue it is as easy as submitting a warranty claim through Builderstrend and a member of our team will address the claim.

As the one-year warranty nears its tenure, we want to come out and touch up your home and address any outstanding warranty issues. We will schedule a time for our warranty specialist to touch base with you and make sure you are pleased with how the home is functioning and that there are no outstanding items that may need attention.
